OK: so will you please propose a couple rigs that might fit the bill? .
I would imagine you will get quite a few suggestions. I'm not going to go there. We went from a 5th wheel toy hauler to truck camper just recently. Given our dually truck, we really thought we could carry darn near anything. We were WRONG! That model year is all hat and no cattle for in-bed payload. Learned many lessons from that experience, and fortunately, did not make a regretful purchase.
Getting familiar with this site will help you avoid a costly mistake. ***Link Removed***
We do not have kids at home (when we did we had a Class C, then a small Class A, and ultimately the big toy hauler) and grandkids are still a bit young to join us. Already had air bags; but upon suggestion of a few folks on base and the dealer we added upper and lower stable loads. Hope the calculator helps you with your decision-making.
