Of all the pictures we have of our camper, few truly show angle of tiedowns. Most tiedowns are oppossed -most do have some forward angle. Even if truly verticle your observation camper could move back 2' isnt possible. Assuming tiedowns attached, as camper moved back, top of tiedown swings in an arc-once the distance between mounts tries to increase so would the downward force. Granted the more vertical the more it can travle before distance increases resistance. But im thinking more in inches than feet. Certainly not enough to slide out the back.

Our front tie downs have a pretty good forward pull angle. Only way camper can move back is 'stretching' tie downs. As most use springloaded tiedowns this would also increase tension/pull. I would guess, NOT considering weight of camper and friction, I might be able to slide camper back 2", would require substantial force, Im thinking free movement would be more like a 1/2". Side to side whole different story.
