Thanks for the advice. I tried it that way too and still had some problems. I did see a video on youtube which is titled Roo Bunk Close. Very nice video and worked pretty good for me. What he does is pre-fold up his mattress at the sectional fold area and then attaches his side straps to hold it in place. I have no side straps but do have some snaps at the very rear that hold the entire mattress in place. You then close you RV door and turn the exhaust fans on in the main area and the bathroom with of course the bathroom door open. It doesn't take long at all as you see in the video for the tent canvas to be sucked in by the vacuum. It is a rather fast process. However since I have no exhaust fan in my main area of the Dutchman Aerolite 195 it takes longer than his video but it works. I may replace that regular vent with a fan vent since it works so well. There is another video there of a different camper who uses the same vacuum method and his also works well.
