Maybe some of the aerolite cub owners will chime in here and help out.
the jayco's imo are more straight forward as no fans are needed and your only dependent on yourself for closing it up.
With that said and just my 2 cents here I see no difference between a fan sucking in the canvas vs tucking it in by hand as i close my front bunk door, but again I'm not a cub owner. Btw I watched the video, very interesting but the major difference between the Cubs vs the jayco's is inside mattress is the first to be removed completely and last to be put away on the close up procedure.
You could try asking your questions on www.popupportal.com website forum as they have a hybrid section and they do seem to get more movement there.
