I have a 2007 Cub 214, your ends should operate the same as mine (assuming you have the regular tents and not that goofy domed thermarest one. Anyway, I first fold the mattress over then pull the single support off and let the other support fold down on top of the mattress - it will hold the folded part. Then I go out and detach the Velcro around the perimeter and make sure that the two tabs with snaps are fastened - that will hold the top part of the mattress against the bunk door. Then I carefully fold in the edges of the tent taking special care at the lower corners not to push too far in as I think that contributed to the plastic strip splitting there from being pulled when the bunk door was closed. Then I just fold up the door making sure that the tent and support cables are safely inside then close the locks. Takes me about 3 minutes per end to close 'em up. I store the support rod on the little shelf that is normally covered by the mattress when open - the tent fabric rests on it when closed and keeps it in place.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
