I've owned both. V10 is up to the task if you can deal with the poor mileage, especially in the mountains. Expect 6-8 mpg. 6.0 well easily do the job, with better mileage under all circumstances. Only consider it IF you are willing to educate yourself about the well documented problems, solutions, and warning signals.
