NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING WITH A 6.0 diesel...junk. As for the v10....be aware that you will have to replace the exhaust manifold bolts....just finishing it up on my Excursion. As for towing limitations on the Excursion I think not. My current one is a 4wd with 4:30 gears. We load it up and I pull a 36 foot trailer with no issues. The One I have on the way is also a v10 but 2wd and 3:73 gears. Rated at 1000 lbs less but from discussions I have had it does just fine and no need for the 4:30 gears. Only thing with the V10 is you need to let it rev...it loves to rev. I would keep the Excursion over the van IMHO
