eagle cap versus host

I have a TC dealer 10 hrs from me. I thought we was sold on an EC but when we made the drive to take a look was disappointed. There where at least a half dozen issues of poor workmanship on the unit we looked at. Nothing major but really hard for me to believe they would let it leave the factory like that. After we looked at it in person we also didn't care for the layout of the floor plan and decided we needed to look at host. 10 months later when they had a mammoth and Everest on the lot, we made another trip to look at them. There where still a couple workmanship issues we saw but not to the same level. We liked the floor plan of both models much better than EC and we now have a mammoth on order. Oh, and this time they also had an EC1200 on the lot. Not many workmanship issues and I kind of liked the layout(not as much as the host) but the wife didn't care for it. The pictures are pretty accurate on the web but because these things are small compared to say a fifth wheel, you really need to sit in one for a while and think about how the floor plan would work for your needs.
