I’m trying to figure out where the “well over $200k” price tag that TCM quotes comes from? Other than about $100k profit on each rig.
That’s absolutely nuts, but if they can market it successfully then the boys in Yakima can sell more than apples and veggies!
Cool looking rig, but I’m struggling to see what advantages it really has over a setup like Bedlams or others that are similar, other than slightly shorter in overall height. But what’s the difference once you’re 11’ + tall.
Take any class 4 or 5 truck for $60-70k loaded, add a fancy $60k triple slide TC to it and another $10k in big tires, small lift (maybe) and some bolt on “off road” parts and you have the same thing. Correct. Except you also have a truck to use without your house attached.
Even going overboard on everything, brand spanking new, I can’t get more than about $150 k out of that setup.
