Never really thought about it....maybe weather conditions, lifestyles, terrain. Suggest you start the search for the make and model you're interested in with the larger volume dealers such as RVWholesalers in OH, or RVDirect in NY and another location I can't recall. Wildwood is a Forest River product, which both dealers sell. Otherwise, suggest you call the manufacturer directly and find out what dealer closest to you could order or possibly has what you're after. Likely a lot has to do with the manufacturing location and shipping. Example....who would figure that Hybrid Travel Trailers would be extremely popular in the east, north and into Canada, but tough to find in CA. A CA owner had to drive to Chicago to get what he wanted at a decent price. We're in West TN and drove to RVW for both our HTT and new TT bought this May. We saved enough with their pricing to cover trip expenses and still come out over $4000 ahead on our HTT and more on the TT. Turning this purchase into a vacation with a really large souvenir is certainly a thought if you can save enough. Someone, somewhere has likely thought this through but no clue what's the reason. It would be interesting to know what the determination is. If you find out, please share with the rest of us.
