I like to do my own work on my vehicles when possible. Many Cummins owners remove the intake for the oil filter change, to each his own. I've done two oil and filter changes on my 2014 Cummins without removing any parts. I thought it was easy (no, not as easy as some other vehicles), lost only a few drops of oil, and had very little clean up. I'm 63 and always have that image of the monkeys beating on the engine with plastic baseball bats when I bring my truck to a dealer. I know it's not true in most cases, but anyway that's the image I get.
