I'm glad I don't have to remove parts, hoses, clamps, and expose my turbo input just to perform an oil change. This is ridiculous! :R
Once your engine gets dirty/dusty I'm not sure removing the intake tube is a good idea, but there's really not many options here, except remove the inner fender which I've seen it done.
If I owned one of these '13-'15 cummins finding a after market filter relocation kit would be very high on my priority list for my truck.
And thank you cummins12V for having the ballz to demonstrate this topic. You just put a big grin on my face. :B
BTW... I do respect the fact you prefer to do this yourself. I couldn't imagine having some kid perform this task at the lube shop. Way too many opportunities for a mistake to be made with unintended consequences.
Well lets see...........take 3 minutes to pull a few parts off to change oil or spend a few days to put a new CP4 pump on at a cost of 15 grand.
Hmmmmmmmm............decisions, decisions............:B
