EAZ lift WDH spring bar question

i have a eaz lift WDH and sway control. i have no problems connecting bar chains to tongue and disconnecting. i have no problem inserting bars up into hitch head. i do have a problem disconnecting or "dropping" spring bars out of hitchhead. takes me forever to find the right spot to rotate the bars to drop. am i missing something simple i hope? thank you for the veteran advise here. experience is a great teacher.
  • Just swing under the truck until they fall out. Swing them towards the outside of the truck. Let’s take the drivers side for example. Disconnect the bar from the trailer snap up bracket and then swing the bar out towards the front of the truck. Just a little u see the bumper and it should just fall out.

    Thanks!

My old ezlift had a spring loaded pin on each side. You just pulled the pin out and the wd bar would fall out. Maybe they changed them
  • Mine too just fall out. Use them enough and you get "the touch" installing and breaking down. Eaz lift isn't the most expensive but works well for me.

I have the same system. To disconnect them, rotate them until they are parallel with the back of the truck, then go another 15 degrees or so further (towards the back of the truck). They should just fall out then.
