I agree on the 3/4 T but would it sell up against the 6.7 and 6.2's Ford and GM are using. Would be interesting to find out. As far as the 1500 goes, they would have to completely redesign the truck for an engine that was 300 lbs heavier. The 3.0 allows them to use the truck they already have and that is why it makes sense. For some c0it can never be good enough because it is built by the wrong people.
