The comparison between the Ram 1500 diesel and the Nissan XD will be inevitable, but the XD really will be in a class by itself as far as LD diesels go. I think its most direct competitor will be the F150HD Ecoboost. I think it will offer very comparable towing performance. Fuel economy remains to be seen as well as purchase price.
