- real4u2cExplorerLipert.com, I believe I spelled it right. They supply just about anything rv to the manufacturers, I cant say as to if they will deal directly with a consumer or with the dealers. But its a start. Also might to try your dealer and their service department.

Not that it helps the OP much, but my HTTs dinette window is an egress window which has always cracked me up as its maybe 24" from the door. I cannot imagine a scenario where I would need to use it because I couldn't get to the door...
Same egress window at our dining table area.
As for what scenario would let you out the window but not the door, If your awning collapses, it will block your door and could put a surprising force against it to prevent you from opening the door.
Ever see how much a few wraps of shrinkwrap can hold? Your awning is likely much stronger that shrinkwrap- especially if one arm twisted and the awning roller tube fell against the camper door :E
The egress window would not need to pivot, so even if blocked, you would have a better chance of pushing it slightly and climbing over/through any obstacle.
Or, you could just cut the canvass ;) - poppin_freshExplorerNot that it helps the OP much, but my HTTs dinette window is an egress window which has always cracked me up as its maybe 24" from the door. I cannot imagine a scenario where I would need to use it because I couldn't get to the door...

On our new Rockwood TT we have an egress window in the bedroom. The pix shown above looks like the same thing.....where would they put that in a HTT???
all the hybrids i've seen over the past years, have the tent end windows as the emergency exits, not any of the windows in the sidewalls of the hybrid.
In addition to the bunk end canvas egress, the window over our dinette is also an egress window with a red release latch, but the latch is all metal.
Ray - dadmomhExplorerLike bikendan, our exits were clearly marked above the bunkend. We had no additional egress. Interesting that they would include one over the dinette.
What's interesting with our new TT is that the egress window is in the bedroom and also an additional exterior door. The same 2604 model is available as a 2604W, which means that the bedroom window is eliminated and a slide put in with 4 wardrobe doors. That leaves only the exterior door for emergency exit. Don't know if they put an egress in the living area or not, but otherwise, they're out of room. What is really strange is that both doors have the large grip handles at both doors....know what happens if you have the handle in the closed position.....you can't open the door. Think I'm happier having the window just in case. - PAThwackerExplorerLook how that red plastic end is flexing. The windows open outward and the red plastic end locks into the window frame. I'm amazed it hasn't broken yet!
- PAThwackerExplorerThe rear lower bunk bed has that same egress window with a screen. Simply swing the handle and push the window out. The bar is extremely fragile and I have it zip tied and wrapped with a pool noodle. Our 1 year old bounces around on the bunk.
- e_belindaExplorerMy 2013 Jayco X23B has a window like Francesca Knowles, at the dinette.
