when powered by battery only and my interior overhead lights are on-i go to turn my radio on and the lights start blinking and so does the radio... please help!!

- Its a brand new 24 DC battery... volts was 12.9
- Are you fully recharging your batteries daily? How many amp hours do your batteries have? How many amp hours are you using daily?
- How rapid is the blink? Does it blink like a strobe light, once every half second, every few seconds etc?
Possibly a low battery or an auto reset circuit breaker. Maybe a loose wire on the battery terminals.
Do you have a voltage meter? It would probably be very helpful to know what the battery is doing while the blinking is occurring. Does the voltage drop at the battery with each blink or does it hold steady? Does the voltage fluctuate with the blinking a the fuse panel? - You need to charge battery....they drain down when load is placed on them
- Could be low voltage, have the batteries load checked.
