Why would the esp bas lights come on when towing tv is a Chrysler aspen?
Do you mean ESP and ABS lights? ESP is the same as ESC...extra stability Control/Program, won't let you slide into corners, will compensate for going too fast....ABS of course, is your Automatic Braking system, (pulsates and adjust each tires speed in a hard stop)..Are you saying that when you plug in your trailer cable, the lights stay on or they come on when you brake? Either way, it may be with the way the pigtail is wired up from the trailer to the Aspen. Do you have LED brake and tail lights? Could have something to do with it also, but I would make sure there isn't a supplement for wiring your cable harness from the trailer to the Aspens plug in. May be a wire crossed or may need an inline resistor, something to that affect. A good hitch installer would probably have the answer. Chrysler should be able to tell you, but I'd ask a reputable hitch installer first.
ON EDIT: Just saw your follow up... I had a Prodigy years ago, believe B1 and B2 settings dealt with amount of weight you were towing behind you..B1 for a lighter load, B2 for a heavier load, believe that's right.
