everyday truck ideas needed
Hi, soon my Prius will go to our son.... I am considering a pick up truck, but it will be my daily vehicle, running kids around etc. We'd also use it to throw our bicycles in, and maybe in the future...

Diesel depends in large amount by where you drive, in the flatlands you may get by with a Ford or RAM gas engine pickup with max tow package. You would need to look at the weight of that trailer to know for sure. In mountains you really want a diesel to haul the trailer up those grades. You need to consider where you may going camping not just where you live.
That 7.3L Exclusion is rather elderly I suspect. You will find diesel trucks made after 2012 are a tremendous improvement and those after 2015 even more so.
