Hi, soon my Prius will go to our son.... I am considering a pick up truck, but it will be my daily vehicle, running kids around etc. We'd also use it to throw our bicycles in, and maybe in the future...

My wife loves the ride of my 2019 F-150 4dr short bed. It is about 9” longer than our 1998 Expedition was and won’t fit in our 1930s garage.
The 3.5EB or 5.0 would pull that TT, the 2.7EB on the edge. Forget Max Tow unless you prefer the 3.5EB, required. You can get the benefits of the Max Tow with a much better payload with the Heavy Duty Payload Package & regular tow package. Max Tow gives you 3.55 axle, HDPP a 3.73. Without Max Tow, you need to separately option the trailer brake controller but that can also be added after for about $125. Both MaxTow & HDPP gets you a 36 gallon tank (also available separately).
