The next morning I looked out to see my running lights were on. Again, the trailer is unhooked from the tow vehicle and I even disconnected the coach battery. So the only way to turn off the running lights is to unhook from shore power. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
This isn't a ground issue. The only way the trailer's running lights can power on without being plugged into your tow vehicle is if +12 vdc from the converter (since you've disconnected the battery) is being applied to the circuit, the same circuit that is Pin 3 on your Bargman connector. Check it with a voltmeter and if you find power on that pin then somewhere there's a short allowing + 12 vdc on Pin 4 to get to Pin 3.
