External TV speakers

I'm thinking about adding external speakers for the TV in my 2007 Wave 26RLS. I was thinking about using the factory radio connected to the output on the TV. However, it is about 20' or so from one to the other. Due to hearing loss I need to have the speakers closer to where we sit. I thought about a home theater type system but not sure how much power the pull, we mostly boondock. Any and all suggestions are very welcome.
