ezpass

I just had a weird Ezpass situation. Had the camper on and towing my boat. Went southbound through the Baltimore Ft McHenry tunnel, and the toll was class 5 and $24.00. Coming home northbound I was class 3 and $12.00. Emailed MD Ezpass and they said I have a PA transponder and I should contact PA Ezpass. I imagine PA will tell me to go back and talk to MD as that's who charged me.

mine is up high, around mirror area. works great with camper loaded, even in the 55mph ones.
but this is a crew cab truck.

Mine is at the top of the windshield and works fine with the TC.

Living in California I have Ezpass for Chicago ;)
Going there every 2-3 years I figured out it is worth the time saving.
In Bay Area I use FasTrack, what is the same technology. Having 1 transpoder for the family, I just lay it on the dashboard and it works just fine.
In the past I tried to hold it against the windshield and I think my fingertips on the side blocked the signal as it did not activate.
Still licence plate will do.
Not really advertised, but seem all the companies allow adding licence plate AFTER violation. Saved my frinds couple of times.

I didn't mount mine , just put it on the dash when needed , otherwise in the glove box in the bag .

You can get a license plate mounted EZPass. All you have to do is ask for it, rather than the windshield mount. More susceptible to theft, but it's available.....
