I had to order it. I knew going in I would have to order one, and I'm glad I did, because I think I got a better deal than if the same truck was sitting on their lot.
It took 3 month.
I configured it like I wanted on Ford website for just under $53,000, placed my pre-approval notice down along with a check, and told them I intend to pay $45,000 plus tax and title.
They agreed...no counter offer of any kind.
