Nice report Maury. Sounds almost exactly how I set up my 2018 HDPP (except I went with a Husky Centerline TS hitch) and your results are the same. We are towing very similar size and weight trailers too.
As Vern said, scale your truck empty, unhooked, and again loaded and hooked up. Need to see what those axle weights are, but based on my experience you will be fine. I put a lot more in my truck (passengers/cargo) than you do and I'm still under all limits for the platform.
I too find it funny how the old school dudes on here just can't wrap their heads around how capable these HDPP 1/2 ton truck are. I'm old (55) but into tech and motorized toys so recognize that things have changed a lot in the last 10 years. You don't HAVE to have a 3/4 ton (or more!) as many insist these days. Get the right tool for the job, period.

Thanks Mike.
I'm going to re-scale my truck because I added a BAK rollback tonneau cover, but it was scaled previously.
Yeah, I will be traveling way lighter than 1,000lbs of cargo; besides my screen tent, 2000 watts gen set, and air compressor, food, clothes, and a few coolers, I don't know what else to load...lol.
The truck handled very well, so we'll that my initial nervousness faded away, and I got pretty relaxed out there, especially after the non event when those big rigs passed me.
My trailer was tracking steady, and I was checking the mirrors for that lane movement some posters were having.
The extra up and down movement of the truck over bridge joints are normal, so everything worked as I thought it would.
