Yes I am very happy with the truck and how it tows and handles the trailer.
What surprised me, was the lack of pull/push movement from big rigs, and how the B.O. is working on the trailer. I was more apprehensive about the B.O. than the truck. I have a nice bow on those bars so I know they are working.
The engineering that Ford put into the truck is amazing to me, but I still was very leary about potential movement due to sidewall flex those factory China bombs would allow, so I wasn't going to tow without stiffer tires on the trailer.
The lighter weight of the truck was taken into consideration, and the "stiffning" of the flex points were very important. Thankfully, there isn't any "wobbling" going on with the truck or trailer.
I have basically no reference point to judge my setup against, except my comfort level, and whether I can travel on the highway for hours without a flimsy feeling in various situations.
This is my first automatic vehicle since 1984, so having one hand on the steering wheel is second nature, and once I realized I had one hand on the wheel out on the highway, and not clutching the wheel, I was like, I can do this!!
