F-250/F-350?
Anyone know the difference between an F-250 and F-350? The tow ratings are pretty much exactly the same? Any important differences in the build quality?

Good point! That's partly what made me more inclined to get one this year. I took a look at the 2017's, or at least what I could see, and didn't care for the styling. But as you said that too will probably grow on me as I see more of them.
Definitely want to put some miles on! Checked on Leer caps and bed rug to get those installed before our trip to FL on New Year Eve!!spud1957 wrote:

Interestingly its actually a very dark green. But in different lighting takes on a different look, which I find pretty cool! :C- Sorry I didn't read all the responses so this may have been stated. I you have to ask or are on the fence go the 350. Not that much more and you won't be second guessing your decision.
I did the 2500 and wish I would have gotten the 3500, the only difference was the suspension. I ended up buying the 3500 rear springs so ended up paying the extra $1500 anyway. - Its weird how your tastes change over the years... When Ford first changed to that bodystyle I hated it. The headlights on the bottom looked dumb, that big plastic chrome grille was the ugliest thing ever. Now I think it is a very nice looking truck! I'm still not a fan of black trucks, maybe that's because I wash my truck once a year whether it needs it or not!
That sounds like a very nice truck though. My cousin has a 2011, the first year of the 6.7 engine and he LOVES it. He abuses his truck... works on a farm year round and plows snow in the winter. He hunts every season, anything he can hunt. He really abuses the truck and the exterior sheet metal proves it. Despite all that, the truck drives great and has tons of power.
I looked long and hard at the Ford's but just found a better deal with the Ram. Enjoy the new truck and put some miles on it!!! - Congrats, that thing is a beauty.
- I carry Mechanical Breakdown Coverage with my Insurance carrier on all new cars and it is good for the first 100,000 miles. Cost is $150/yr., never had to use it so far.
- Congrats on the new ride. Post some pics.
- I feel if you you need to buy an extended warranty for any product, you shouldn't be buying the product in the first place. There are plenty of products that don't need ESP, including Ford. Buying extended coverage means that you expect failure.
