When I had looked Ford did not approve of truck campers in 6.5 boxes, only 8ft boxes. Ultimately I went another route but have overloaded a 1500 series truck, added about 4k in parts to try and improve things. Always had lots of power, trouble was stability, was no fun towing. Just my experiance.
