It's called gamesmanship (or outright lying, if you prefer). Buy a F-150 off the dealer's lot assuming that it has nearly the same ratings as their few and far between HD models if you want get in trouble.
You may want to look back at a thread showing actual yellow stickers for more information. It is easier for me to say that my truck has 3,000 pounds of payload than it is to Photoshop a fake sticker, although it can be done.
