I thought it was common knowledge how they BS. Ford tells you they used X amount of weight in cement blocks on a flatbed trailer to get the rating. I think, from experience and what I've read here, factory rating X .75 gets me close and a comfortable pull. I have another thread running on this. Wind drag/weight
