I have a 13 f150 4x4 it is as capable as an old 04 f350 (that rode like a roadwagon) at towing. The max payload for your year had 7 lug wheels(same axle) and heavier springs. I added air bags,heavier wheels and tires and I am hauling a truck camper that hauls perfectly pulling a trailer with a side X side strapped to it. How heavy of trailer are you going to pull?
