I think with 6900 dry the loaded weight will be a bit much for the F150. You have to be really careful with the payload on the F150 EB as most of the ones on the lot you are looking at about 1500 - 1700 lbs. Add you, your stuff,gas and the hitch weight you might be over your payload. There are the F150 EB the max tow packages and even fewer with the HD package.
We have a Rockwood 8313SS with a dry weight of less than yours. But our loaded tongue weight is 950 to 1050 lbs. We were in the market to upgrade our 2001 F150 5.4 and looked at the F150 EB with the max tow package and after crunching the numbers we felt we were going to be at the max or even over and we have just bought the truck.
We ended up getting a 2013 F250 6.2 (gasser) cheaper than the F150 EB and we have no more worries.
I would look at the F250 and compare the price and specs.
