Always a concern is payload. The HD option should give you a little more, but dont count out the F250 with the 6.2 gas job. Reason being, you may need or want to upgrade your camper in the future. This is what happened to me back in the day of my 1/2 ton. I like having more options in campers as my needs may change, having the truck already saves me any unexpected cost relating to the truck. I have no desire to go back to a 1/2 ton no matter how much they tell you it can pull. So search out the numbers and see what works in your favor. I do like the ecoboost BTW, it appears to be doing very well, and with the HD package it may fill the bill. Search out the F250 gas job and compare the 2 when it comes down to payload and overall numbers. Forgot to add, remeber that some 1/2 tin trucks with crew cab is giving u a short 5 or 5.5 bed.... My BIL learned this on the last F150. He upgraded within a year to the F250 gas job and gained alot.....
