Actually, a 20% tongue weight of that 14K trailer(which is 2,800 lbs) is well within the ratings of a SRW diesel that generally have a 3,800 lb payload.
It is not for a 3/4 ton diesel IF you go by it's government mandated GVRW of 10k. However it is well below the 3,500 lbs I have left after subtracting my rear end weight (@ 3,000 lbs) from the 6,500 lb rear GAWR of my truck.
