My 6.2 gets 7 mpg towing and about 14 on the road. Our trailer dry weight is just under 8K and we usually haul a gas ezgo with a kayak. I tow with it in manual mode mostly in 5 th gear here in Florida having to downshift to 4th on the rolling roads. It can't tow anything like my last 3 diesel trucks but it is what I have now.

That's pretty good, I can read that version and understand it!

Could be voice recognition software. Sometimes send long text using it, and unless you speak very clearly the results can suck!

Personal truck F250 6.2 gasser, FW weighs 10,000 lbs. traveled through Colorado, Arkansas and many other places, never had any problem keeping up quite the opposite, did it rev, did it downshift, yes that is what it should do, it appears that people think when you get a diesel hook up whatever on the back and it engages 6th gear and this is where it should stay until they arrive where they are going.
I hook up the trailer, and at 60 mph, small hill drops to 5th gear, larger hill 4th gear, real steep 3rd gear, but still doing 60 mph.

In California, it depends on the vehicle doing the towing, whether or not it has to go through the scales.

If your truck is a cab/chasis truck (did not come from the factory with a pickup bed installed on it as new) over 10,000 lbs GVWR, unless it has been upfitted with a permanent motorhome body on it, it has to go through the scales, regardless of what kind of trailer you're towing.

Pickups are not allowed on the scales in California, unless the truck is used to haul freight commercially and displays a US DOT number on the truck.
