F250 and lance 1050s
is it a good match? Base weight is 3030 factory options increase the weight to 3263...is that a true estimate? Anyone have a 1050s willing to share their weight, options and truck experience?

I got a 2014 1050S and I took it straight to the scales from the dealership, 3600 and some change with empty tanks. It sits great on my F350 DRW. Best of luck.
. What are your upgrades?. Did you add a generator? We are not (solar panels)...

As already posted, tires and rims should be upgraded. 19.5's do not do well in soft sand but don't be afraid to take it out on the hard pack. If you do want better flotation, look for rims and tires rated close to 4000 lbs each so you have some margin for packing extras.
Start with StableLoads on your stock springs before adding additional ones to compensate for rear sag. Stability will come with proper spring rate, an anti-sway bar, stiffer tires and more heavily dampened shocks.

We just bought a 2014 1050s. Took it to the scales before a trip and the camper was 4000 lbs. Thats with a full tank of water and 4 days worth of food, clothing and other stuff.

It's a big camper on a 3/4t. Are you planning to tow behind it too? If not, it can be done with some modifications.
