F350 dually's

For farts and giggles, was doing a search on F350 dually's ('17, '18) and from what I'm seeing, they don't offer a 3.73 ltd slip rear end, just a 4.10. Funny how dealers don't order this type of truck w/ a 5th wheel pkg. Found 2 that caught my eye (1 had the 5th prep and bunch of options, other not), 8k diff but really haven't dove into "true value" to see what they can truly be bought for.

    F350 SRW 6.2: 3.73 and 4.30
    F350 SRW 6.7: 3.31 and 3.55

  • To clarify the bottom of the bed is almost the same. The bed rails are taller
  • Really...so I have now seen 2 with the new body style and it was an illusion that they were taller than mine? Not to mention when I saw one at the dealer it really looked much taller than mine. Maybe my truck is lower than all the other DRW fords?

I will agree that the widetrack front axle on mine makes it look lower due to its width but I really felt like the new DRW are taller.

I think the bed height is essentially the same

  • We bought our '17 King Ranch, with 5th wheel pkg and all the other bells and whistles, for a bit over 60k last fall. I do not know off the top of my head which rear end it has though. We did get a killer deal on it, as it was end of model year. MSRP on the sticker was almost 80k. Not sure that's the norm though, but we were happy with it. The other part of the deal that worked well for us was that they gave us 53k for our trade in, which was a 2015 DRW Platinum, with only 13k on it.
  • the newer ones are also taller than the previous version.

F-350 dually's come with either a 3.55 or 4.10 starting in 2017. In 2017 there were 5 different trim level packages, and in 2018 there are 6 levels.
