You don't mention if its gas or Diesel nor the cab and bed length, but my 2017, 250 XLT CC SB with the 6.7 as a GVWR of 10,000 and the sticker reads 2355, if that helps any.
That said, the two weights you list, 4164 and 3326 is a difference of 838 pounds. Moving from the 6.2 to the 6.7 is right at an 800 pound difference, so my guess is the dealer looked up what the 'payload' would be with the gasser, instead of the diesel.
