Isn't the door sticker the law? I always thought so. I'm not obligated to buy this truck and I have no deposit on it. Right now I'm not feeling comfortable hitching my Fuzion to it.
LOL lots of chest pounding as usual on a rv website about whats legal and what isn't. Your local state troop division can tell you what your trucks legal load limit is.
JMO but the 3500 SRW isn't a good choice for towing your 42' long Fuzion 401 toy hauler which shows to have a 18000 lb gvwr (14870 lb dry plus 3130 lb CCC).
Some report their 401's have over 4000 lbs on the trucks rear axle once their all loaded up. You have the trailer so you know how much scaled weight your adding to the trucks bed.
You can always upgrade the SRW trucks rear axle to carry more weight by going with 19.5" wheels/tires and maybe bags or have a big rig suspension shop add more springs.
For a trailer that size the DRW with its 9900 rawr is good for 6k-7k in the bed payload.
Why the payload differences ?? As I mentioned above depends on which trucks GVWR/GAWR package was selected.
