This thread is like finding a Christmas present under my tree. Not only did I get the 2312 pounds of payload that Ford specified for my F-150 but also a Christmas bonus of 125 pounds by combining axle weights. Maybe next Christmas it will get bumped up to 3,000 pounds with some bigger tires? Next thing you know, people will be selling their Super Duty models and buying half tons. Merry Christmas and thanks to all.
PS, in towing thousands of miles including construction equipment, I only had a policeman take note of the tires on the lowboy once, when I was way overloaded. Like 20,000 pounds over. Roto Mills are heavy.
