I am not a lawyer, or a policeman. Just a RV guy these days. There is no way that I would put 10,000 pounds on the rear axle of the five 2500HD Silverados that I have owned. Can it be done? Sure. Even more? Pull under our asphalt plant and I will flatten those tires.
I will remind you again that new members come on the "Tow Vehicles" forum every day expecting safe, reasonable, non-technical advice on RV tow vehicles. If they want to talk construction equipment or Class A motorhomes, that is a different forum.
