The only complaint I’ve had about the two F450 pickups I’ve owned regarding their suspension, and I believe this is a common complaint, is that they squat a little more than I’d like when you max out the gvwr.
I’ve put upper Stableloads on, and the squat is acceptable, but I’ve also had a recent issue where the Stableloads were essentially work hardened and shattered by a long stretch of washboard road. Torklift sent me a new set, but if I have any more problems with them I’m going to do what I feel I should have done all along and take the truck to a spring shop. I’ll have them remove the single leaf overload spring and install a 2 or 3 leaf pack that engages a little sooner than the OEM.
Then, it will be perfect. For me, that is. :C
