Other factors:
- Marketing projects what they 'think' they will sell, so the dealer orders accordingly
- Ditto Marketing within the OEMs...so they build more of those
- Then those two are factored by the localities that the stock is sent to
It would be interesting to then compare these numbers with the sales
numbers and in stock numbers with what took the hit in sales because
folks moved or are moving to CrewCabs
Then the increase, initially, numbers of fender benders, scraps, etc
from the newbies first few months behind the wheel of vehicles over
3 feet longer than they are used to...
