What do you do when you need the tongue as low as possible and the foot gets in the way? Is it easy to remove?
No need to ever remove it. The manufacturer thought of that situation. Easy peasey -- you lower the jack with the Flip Jack kept horizontal, resting the front side of the flip jack on a block of wood -- works like a charm. I've done it. - BurbManExplorer IIAnybody have a pic?
- danagerExplorerI have had one for three years, really like it!
I will warn you about one issue that was a result of user input trying to overcome some mechanical feedback (my fault). Over the course of the first two years, while bringing the jack up and retracting the "foot", I cracked the castle nut on the tongue jack. This lead to a jack that would not raise and needed assistance to be lowered. I replaced the jack and reinstalled the foot. So, my advice, when you raise the jack, take it easy. - lovemyttExplorerI love the ingenuity camping life creates!

I've never come close to needing to do this. It only takes one bolt to undo it.
Somehow I jinxed myself!! Today, due to a really odd campspot, the foot got in the way!! I ended up digging a shallow hole under the foot so I could get the tongue low enough. - DatacomGuyExplorerI need to measure my tongue jack to get the size before i can order. Drat.

I believe you can set it up with the foot in the bent postion as well.
Indeed you can - it is usable in the "flipped up" or "kneeling" position. Works beautifully.
I have one having bought it for my previous RV. Had to drill a hole at the bottom of the tongue jack post to install it - not a problem. On the current trailer there is a hole there already but it is not at the required 1/2" (?) from the end, so now I have to slice off a small length of the tongue jack. Since drilling is easier slicing, the Fastway Flip is still sitting in my garage. :( One of these days .... - Jayco23FBExplorer
