- VernDieselExplorerShinner I did 10k for the first 100k per warranty. Soon there after I switched to 15k interval per my Blackstone oil analysis results.
Transamz gotcha & good deal.
IdaD That's cool. Fwiw Local Walmart has it for $22 less $5 mail in rebate from Rotella for a net of $17 a gallon. - VernDieselExplorerSidecar, Granted that fiat 500 thing is about as ugly as an old motorcycle with a sidecar. That said I been thinking about bottling diesel as cologne. Makes the girlfriend horny. VernDiesel
Helz ya got yer self an ol clattering mechanical 7.3 they don't get no more stinky then that. That's probably what attracted the wife to ya. :) - IdaDExplorerYou can get synthetic T6 on Amazon subscribe and save for about $18 shipped which s the best deal I've seen on it. Couple 3 gallons of that with the stratapore filter and you're less than $70 for a full synthetic oil change, which isn't bad at all.

What oil do you put in your Cummins that you do an oil change for $49? And how many quarts does it hold?
I didn't mean I did a $49 oil change on my Cummins. I looked up the fuel and oil filters for the ECO Diesel and that's what I could change it for.
I run Fleet Supreme 15-40 for oil. I get it bulk for ~$8 a gallon. - ShinerBockExplorer

As mentioned above about $60 to 65 using full synthetic T6. 10.5 quarts. I do the same 15k interval and a fuel filter every other oil change.
I could have sworn the Ecodiesel was 10k last I checked? If it is 15k now then that is even better for when I get one in the new Wrangler.
I also don't do synthetic. No need for it in the temps I live in. It never even gets below 20F here so it would just be a waste of money for me. - VernDieselExplorerAs mentioned above about $60 to 65 using full synthetic T6. 10.5 quarts. Chevron Delo 400 at Costco is $36.99 for a 3 gallon case and the filer is the regular Fleetguard oil filter(LF3972) is $9.95 at Geno's Garage online which comes out to $46.94 plus tax for every 15,000 mile oil change if I do it myself. If I wanted to upgraded Fleetguard Stratopore oil filter(LF16035) then that is $13.95 at Geno's making the oil change about $50.94 plus tax every 15,000 miles.
I generally get the upgraded filter which cannot be had in Mopar. Fleetguard(aka Cummins Filtration) makes the oil filter on these trucks for Mopar. However, the Mopar oil filter is the base non-Stratopore version of the Fleetguard filter with a 30 micron at 95% efficiency and you have to buy a Fleetguard in order to get the upgraded Stratopore filter media with a 30 micron at 100% efficiency filter.
If my local dealership does mine then then it is regularly $84, but they usually have a $65 coupon on their website.
What is the interval and what does it cost to do it yourself with the Ecodiesel? - SidecarFlipExplorer IIIMaybe they will put the little diesel in a Fiat 500. Then they will have an ugly car that stinks too.....:p

The oil change is no more expensive then that of the Cummins. The filter has come down in cost to under thirty bucks.
I'm showing that I can get both oil and fuel filters for $28 and I'm also showing 15-40 for oil unless below 0 then 5-40. The oil I use would cost ~$21. $49 ain't bad for a self service oil change.
