FCA has been spoken to by the Feds about slowing recall parts availability intentionally to better control their budget. I don't remember the outcome, but I lived it along with GM, Honda, and Toyota for 44 years.
When they were Chrysler they were fine. When they were Daiimler they were OK. Now that they are FCA they are a Ron White joke.
The same people still build them, they are not the problem. The problem is the big shot muckity mucks that make the decisions. I don't hate the products, I hate the company. The sooner they sell the good pieces off the better.
