Here on the US side there are several VIDEO LINKS you can downstream on using the internet. "LIVE TV" "MOP VIDEO TV" "TV COUCHTUNER" "WATCH TV SERIES" to name a few. You have to learn what you can and should not click on to be safe on these usually out of the country web sites.
I use the 'LIVE TV' alot here as a second TV where I can watch NASCAR on the TV in my radio room here and the FOOTBALL GAME on the computer link. TV looks great on my 24-inch computer monitor screen... The 'LIVE TV' is delayed about three to four seconds from what is being shown on the same TV channel here.
You can also goto the BROADCAST NETWORKs WEB SITEs on the internet and link to their LIVE TV connections.
We do this alot here at home on the TV SHOWS we miss for one reason or another on both the computer and tablets... Neat to have around when you need them...
Have never tried them on the road as I'm sure they will fall into the high GBs consumed per evening for downstreaming.
I notice alot of the APPs do this but you have to use your local cable company account number and password. Don't know if this results in a fee or not for the service...
We just make sure we have our OTA ANTENNA setup to pick up the NATL BROADCAST "CLEAR HDTV" for FREE from the local towns when we are on the road. No drama's involved doing it this way...
