My bad, probably wrong terminology....It has 6 speeds...a couple of times going up the mountain, I'd hit 60 and tranny would shift from 5th to 6th...AND, of course, start losing a little momentum, thus the reason I would state I manually shifted back to 5th....It did this a couple of times, when it went to 6th, it maintained for a very short time, and probably would have held at 55 or 20, it did for the first part of the mountain...this is a long mountain and quite curvy for an interstate. I was trying to see if I could top at 60...had never done it before towing this 5er....Guess I'm sorta dumb and wanted to see what the new truck would do...
sorry for using the "dropped down" part...6 speed is all it is.
