I buy 4" peeler logs 16" long. Already been thru the mill. No bugs. Any wood that's been processed is fine. It's the downed trees that can carry the bugs. Lots cheaper to buy the 4" peeler logs than pay the exuberant prices the CG's want for green wood that won't burn unless it's next to some meltdown at a nuclear plant.
