fire wood

I know some campgrounds do not allow firewood to be brought in. I have seen some folks bring it in and leave it in the truck till they burn it in the fire pit. One guy even started a fire with Kingsford Charcoal first , he said that would take care of any insect in the wood and he didn't put the wood from the truck to the fire till he had a hot fire going. Any thoughts??

    lol. so i imagine you can buy wood locally for a small fee of say....first born child?

    I'm following all firewall rules, simply because of the cost to us all to have infestations propagated across the country.

    The ash tree in my front yard will die in a few years because some clown hauled infested firewood into my community. I'm not happy about that.
